- Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and daily schedule flow
- Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately communicate patient portions prior to appointments
- Submit claims and follow up on outstanding or denied insurance balances
- Collect patient payments
- Be the warm, professional face of the practice — greet patients, manage check-in and check-out, and handle incoming calls with care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and record handling
- Handle general administrative duties and keep the front office organized and running smoothly
- Take ownership of administrative tasks proactively as we build the schedule
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of front office experience in a dental practice
- Working knowledge of dental insurance — verification, billing, and EOB interpretation
- Exceptional patient communication and customer service skills
- Professional, polished, and able to represent the practice with confidence
- Discreet and reliable — HIPAA compliance is non-negotiable
- Proactive and self-sufficient — able to identify what needs to be done and do it without being asked
What we offer:
- $22–$27/hr
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8–5 (~24 hrs/week)
- PTO
- Paid holidays
- Path to full-time as the practice grows
